In case you noticed the American Airlines 767 in the bottom right-hand corner of the banner picture, this photograph was taken at 9,500 feet while I was flying over the Miami Class Bravo airspace. The AA flight was probably a good two-thousand feet below me, on its way to land at MIA. We were both talking with ATC, but on separate frequencies, so I didn’t hear ATC tell AA to watch for the tiny plane at his 10 o’clock.

Flying with Hans

  • I don’t fly like this (youtube)

Logbook (Excel) - 276 hrs - last recorded flight 4/27/08. (terribly out of date, I’m nearing 400 hrs now)

I’m planning of transferring my log-book to this very cool web site flightLogg.in

If I’m not flying myself, I’m probably sitting at Gravelly Point hoping the winds will favor landings on RWY 19.
